Hermione smiled to herself as she looked around. To think that only a few months previous she'd travelled all across England with her friends trying to find Voldemort's Horcruxes and defeat the Dark Wizard once and for all. She almost couldn't believe it had happened. Nevertheless, her memories of the journey and the battle were vivid. And now, she was back at Hogwarts. After having spent all of last year racing across England, it had been decided that Hermione and her friends had to return to Hogwarts once more to complete their Seventh Year. The boys of course had groaned about it a bit, finding themselves a bit reluctant to return to school after saving Great Britain, yet Hermione had been grateful - as much as she had learned last year during her travels, this year she wanted to complete her education in Hogwarts. She stood in the halls of the large castle, smiling to herself as people passed by all around her. She knew Hogwarts would feel very different now without Dumbledore. Even now it felt somewhat strange. She was certain all of the other students had grown used to it last year, but in her absence from Hogwarts she hadn't realized how different it felt. Still, fixing her dark robes a little, Hermione strode down the corridor towards the Great Hall, where the students gathered for their lunch. Hermione slowly strode in, taking in the sights she'd missed for over a year. The four tables for the different Houses, the ceiling that resembled the sky - it all felt so familiar to her, despite how much had changed. If anything had stayed the same since her last visit to Hogwarts, it was this place. Looking over, the brunette smiled as she spotted two young Witches sitting at the Gryffindor table - one a redhaired girl by the name of Ginny Weasely and the other a blonde known only as Luna Lovegood, both of whom were in their Seventh Year as well. Luna wasn't actually a Gryffindor, but nevertheless the moon-eyed girl spent a lot of time at the Gryffindor table with her friends. In spite of Luna's eccentricities, Hermione couldn't help but enjoy her presence. "Hey, Hermione!" Ginny called out, waving to her. Luna turned as well, smiling towards Hermione as she approached the table. As the two made room, the brunette sat herself down beside Ginny. "It's nice to see you again, Hermione," Luna spoke. "How are you?". "I hear you've been made Head Girl!" Ginny remarked, smirking. "Is that really true?". Hermione smiled, but couldn't help but feel a pink tinge to her cheeks. It was indeed true, of course - When she'd been called to meet with Mrs. McGonagall on the train, the elderly Witch had given to her the role of Head Girl. Hermione had been caught off guard by it somewhat, yet nevertheless the Headmistress insisted that Hermione was the best choice to be Head Girl. "It's true," Hermione admitted. "Even I'm surprised. But Harry and Ron both said that if anyone from our year was going to be Head Girl, it was going to be me". "I agree," Ginny remarked, still smirking. "Where are Harry and Ronald, by the way?" Luna asked, her brow raised. "Ron said he was going to go check out the Quidditch Pitch, since he hasn't been there in over a year," Ginny spoke. "I'm willing to bet Harry's with him. Have you got any plans, Hermione?". "No," Hermione admitted, shaking her head. "Not really. Why?". "You remember History of Magic earlier, right?" Ginny began. Already Hermione could guess exactly what she needed help with. "Of course," Hermione spoke, smiling. "I can meet you in the library later". "Perfect," Ginny said, smiling to herself. "It seems we all have plans tonight, then," Luna spoke up. "I'm having dinner with the Plumpixies". Hermione and Ginny both stopped and stared at the blonde, both of them raising their eyebrows in a questioning look. The blonde simply smiled back, taking a sip of water before continuing. "They're small little creatures who only meet with you during mealtimes, so long as you have their favorite food - chocolate. But they don't like loud noises, so they avoid places like the Great Hall. They have a bad temper if you leave during the middle of a meal, though," Luna explained, as if she was reciting something she'd read in an encyclopedia on magical creatures. Hermione and Ginny however were willing to bet it was from the Quibbler instead. "Well, that's great, Luna," Hermione remarked, deciding not to try and tear her odd imagination apart. "Maybe some night we'll see them too". "Uh... Why can't this be easier?" Ginny groaned, lying on the desk in front of her. Sitting across from her, Hermione held an open book in front of herself as she looked over to Ginny. "If you're feeling tired, we can finish up for the night," Hermione remarked. "We've already covered a lot. We can have the work finished tomorrow". "Please. I just feel like going to bed now," Ginny responded. Pushing herself up from the desk, she sighed as she looked out the window, seeing the dark skies and the sparkling stars of the night. Hermione was gathering up and putting away the books, not looking at all tired. But then, Hermione never got tired of books. If anything, they revitalized her. Once all the books had been put away, the two left the library together and began wandering through the corridors of the castle. Hermione took the lead as Ginny followed behind, letting out a yawn. The two navigated their way through the maze that was the magical castle, soon finding themselves walking along the west wing, where the windows to their right gave them a view of the forests and the sea out far from the castle. "I can't wait to get to bed," Ginny remarked. "I-". "Shh!" Hermione interrupted the read head, raising a finger to her lips. "What?" Ginny replied, raising a brow. "What is it?". "I thought I..." Hermione spoke, only to pause. Now Ginny could begin to hear it - a strange whispering that could only barely be heard. Yet nevertheless, in the silent corridors they could hear a voice. Nodding to each other, the two girls wandered along through the corridors, following the voice. It was soft-spoken and carried a strange air about it - it sounded almost giddy. Soon what was once whispers became gibberish, which soon began to sound like actual words as they came closer. "It's such a shame Hermione and Ginny aren't here - I'm sure you'd be delighted to meet them. They're some of the nicest people I've met," a voice spoke. The two girls immediately recognized it, but neither of them could believe it until they turned the corner. Sitting in the corridor by the windows was the blonde Ravenclaw witch known as Luna Lovegood. Dressed in her black robes and student uniform, she rested on her knees with a plate of chocolate brownies set out in front of her. She appeared to be talking, but neither Hermione nor Ginny could see anything there. But their presence did not go unnoticed - soon, the blonde stopped and turned, spotting her friends. Luna gave a smile as bright as a moonbeam. "Hermione, Ginny, I-" Luna started, but was soon interrupted. "Luna!" Hermione spoke, a bit taken aback. "What are you-" "I'm having dinner with the Plumpixies. Or would it be supper?" Luna asked, her head lost in thought. Hermione sighed, shaking her head. "You're talkin to yourse-" Hermione spoke, but was soon cut off. "Look, Luna, we should probably be getting to bed soon," Ginny spoke, desiring not to raise a huge fuss about Luna talking to herself right now. "But the Plumpixies-" Luna attempted to respond, but Hermione shook her head. "Look, it's almost curfew. You don't want to get a detention for staying out late, do you?" Hermione asked, raising a brow. The blonde bit her lip, looking back at the plate of brownies. Shaking her head, she began to stand upright before she turned, bowing to the plate of brownies. "I'm sorry I can't stay for supper. I promise I'll make it up to you!" Luna spoke before turning back to her two friends. "Shall we take our leave?". Hermione and Ginny looked to each other, nodded, and soon they began to walk, leading Luna away by the hand. Luna looked back for a moment, looking slightly disheartened as she stared at the plate of brownies before she turned back forwards and continued to follow Hermione and Ginny. What neither of them noticed, however, were tiny purple beings with moth-like wings poking their heads out from behind the brownies, their faces turning scornful as they watched the girls leave. This would not do at all. "Such a shame... Perhaps I shall wait to have lunch instead next weekend. But then the noise might be too much for them during the daytime..." Luna spoke, thinking of the Plumpixies. Hermione and Ginny, slightly ahead, looked to each other and shrugged. Neither of them were sure what to make of Luna's behavior. She was undeniably weird, but talking to herself? It seemed a little odd, even for Luna. Nevertheless, they decided that their best course of action was a good night's sleep. Once they led Luna back to the Ravenclaw Dorm Room, they could head back to their own. Of course, as the three Witches walked together, none of them could deny just how strange the castle felt at night. They'd been up at night before in the castle, of course, but usually there were other people up as well. Right now it felt silent and eerie, aside from Luna's mumbling. "I really hope I get some sleep in," Ginny spoke. "I don't want to feel like crap when I'm at Quidditch practice tomorrow...". "I agree," Hermione added. "I've got Ancient Runes tomorrow. What do you have Luna?". Rather than hear a response, they heard a groan. Turning their heads, the brunette and the redhead looked back to see Luna standing still, stroking her stomach with a somewhat displeased look on her face. Hermione stopped, staring back with a raised brow. "Luna?" Hermione asked, confused. But rather than respond immediately, Luna groaned again and bit her lip. Now Hermione was worried. "Are you okay?". "... I..." Luna stopped. Suddenly, the blonde let out a loud and deafening belch that echoed through the corridors. It was like the roar of a dragon, howling like thunder. Hermione and Ginny had to raise their hands to their ears to block out the sound coming from so close by. But before either of them could comment, they found themselves staring transfixed at Luna. Or rather, her stomach. Her stomach was beginning to swell, already looking like a large bulge beneath her sweater. The blonde rubbed her stomach, feeling it grow larger and softer in her hands. It grew and grew, now poking out from beneath her sweater as her pale flesh appeared radiant even in the dim light. Hermione looked up to see however that it wasn't just exclusive to Luna's stomach as she seemed to be getting chubbier all around, with her cheeks becoming rounder. Her sweater continued to rise up and up, becoming less and less able to cover her growing figure. Her stomach was now large and round, sagging down over the waistband of her skirt - which in turn was rising up along her ever-thickening thighs and her broadening backside. Her thighs were already beginning to rub together whilst her arms were likewise becoming caked with fat, becoming more pudgy. Even her fingers were like fat sausages extending from her hand. "L-Luna!" Ginny gasped in shock. But before either she or Hermione could move, the two of them simultaneously felt a strange feeling in their stomach - like it had suddenly emptied. Hunger pangs swept through them, causing them both to groan in pain as they clutched their stomachs. But then, they both began to feel their hunger fading as their stomachs began to fill. The two girls soon realized exactly what was happening. Ginny gasped as the top buttons of her white shirt popped off, shooting through the corridors and ricocheting against the walls. Her belly bulged outwards, pushing her sweater up much like Luna's had as the orb of peachy flesh distended outwards. She stepped back, her already chubby hands grasping her own love handles in shock as she held her own fleshed-out figure. Her limbs were thickening, gaining layer upon layer of fat. Her skirt was beginning to tear at the side, straining against the flesh of her thighs as her hips widened considerably. Her stomach was hanging down like an apron of flesh, obscuring her feet from her own view as she found more of her vision overtaken by both her expanding stomach and her growing breasts that sat atop it. Hermione's body, much like the others, had blimped outwards. Her stomach was swelling in size, the sudden change causing her to fall forwards onto her knees as her stomach lay in her lap, growing even larger still. Her thighs were pressed against one another beneath it, her lap like a shelf to support the massive weight of her stomach. Her breasts were pushed up in front of her face, each one as large as her own face. Her face indeed looked much rounder and chubbier, with cheeks that looked like they were full with food. She could feel her bottom swelling as well, now pressed against the floor. Moving her hands down as felt it, finding each buttock to be easily big enough for an armchair on its own. Her behind was easily wide enough to fill a couch by itself, she quickly realized, and still growing larger. Luna now looked almost like a moon, her massive form sitting on the ground. Her bottom was almost as wide as the corridor and her legs were thick with fat, rubbing against one another constantly. Her stomach however was truly astronomical, distending outwards several feet and covering her legs like a huge blanket of flesh, leaving only her pudgy feet and toes poking out from beneath. The sides of her belly clogged up the corridor, with her thick arms laying atop the layers and layers of flesh. Her breasts were just about the only part of her still clothed, with her sweater now so torn and stretched that its only function now was to cover up the nipples of her massive breasts, each one swollen larger than a normal person's head and sitting just in front of Luna's own rounded face, which was now adorned with two extra chins. Ginny wasn't quite as fat, but nevertheless was hardly what one might consider small. Her shoes had broken apart as she grew, whilst her skirt fell to the floor after having been torn apart. Each of her breasts were slightly larger than her own head, sitting atop a massive, layered stomach of fleshy rolls that her hands sunk into as she grasped it. Her belly was certainly curvaceous and corpulent, with her sweater rising up and exposing all of her stomach, only managing to cover her chest. But what stood out most was her hips, which were almost twice as wide as the rest of her. Her buttocks were huge, sticking out like a shelf behind her whilst her large legs constantly scraped together, their thickness almost a requirement to support her huge frame. Hermione, meanwhile, was as large as Luna, her stomach having swollen to the point that she was now forced to lie atop it like it was a bed of lard. Her gargantuan belly was large enough to plug up the corridor, swelling out to press up agains either wall. Her face was round and chubby, possessing two extra chins that jiggled as she moved. Her breasts had likewise blimped in size, no large enough to hang out and press against the ground. No fabric could contain them, and what little of Hermione's clothes were left were no doubt buried beneath her bulk. She couldn't see behind her, but Hermione's bottom was similarly huge - hanging in the air, her hips pressed against the walls to either side of her and her two cheeks each resembled bean bag chairs. Her legs, although longer than a normal human was tall and certainly thicker, stuck out comically behind her as they flailed about helplessly. The three girls seemed to have finally stopped growing, but their newfound hugeness put a damper on their spirits. The three groaned, looking around at each other. Still, even as the three cursed their new states, they could deny one thing. They felt *hungry*.
