Being upset at the utter lack of weight gain in a years worth of this comics run is completely reasonable. You can only give a donkey the stick for so long before it demands the carrot. Also, this 'confrontation' you're talking about will be extremely underwhelming at best, or nonexistent at worst. There's absolutely no reason for Pernille's presence to cause any issue for anyone, not even Emma, since there was no problem when they last met around Elijas house (back when Nina first tasted Nikolai's cooking).

Its likely just due to the release schedule and having the time to make and release the parts is that makes it just feels worse than it is. There are times maybe where having the comic be black and white, Belt couldve dedicated the coloring and shading time to just making more pages instead wouldve alleviated it more. But i'm not sure.

I disagree, I feel like Emma is a lot less interesting than Tanya by a large margin. Tanya is much more likeable and easy going. And the fact that Tanya doesn't know Niko likes fat girls makes her gaining all the cuter, since its just incidental and not to seduce him.
