Now that you mention it, LeBron James is actually a good comparison to Brianna. She started out solo—kind of like LeBron’s first stint with Cleveland. But with no real supporting cast, neither LeBron nor Brianna were getting where they wanted to in their careers, so they both made big moves.
LeBron signed with the Miami Heat to form a Big Three with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Similarly, Brianna left solo work to form a dynamic duo with Jae. Both got what they were after: Brianna gained more popularity (which probably meant more sales), and LeBron finally got his first championship.
All good things come to an end, though. LeBron left Miami to return to Cleveland, and Brianna had a falling-out with Jae. Still, both found success with new co-stars—LeBron had Kyrie, and Brianna had Leighton. (Yeah, Leighton was part of the trio with Jae, but I compare her to Kyrie because it fits better; Jae is clearly Brianna’s D-Wade.)
They stayed successful, even if not quite at the same level as before. Then, after a few less-than-stellar years, both moved on again. LeBron ended up on the Lakers, and Brianna returned to mostly solo work. But now, after a few years, they’ve both been paired with young superstars—LeBron with Luka, and Brianna has made a bit of content with Queenyaya. Luka and Yaya are two young stars taking their respective leagues by storm.
So yeah, I’d say Brianna really is comparable to LeGOAT James.
