I think you're right.
The difference is LisaLou responds to all her messages and has consistently been putting out quality videos for years. No bots, no impulsive not-thought-out videos. Her sub was $15 when she left bigcuties, now it's $20, and it's still worth it. I only sub every few months, but she always responds to my messages and her videos are always pretty good. She built the quality and THEN upped her price.
Randomly doubling the price out of nowhere, then saying "Don't worry guys, I plan on trying to make it worth it in the future!" is not the same thing.
Mary said in her live that she plans on going live weekly and posting all the lives. If she actually does that, it could be worth the higher price, but she hasn't been very reliable in the past, so we'll see. She should have started doing weekly lives months ago, built the consistency, and THEN raised the price.
She clearly wants more money, and hey don't we all. I do hope it goes well for her. She was in the "low quantity, low effort, low prices" lane, and she wants to get into the fast lane and charge higher prices, but I don't think she realizes how much more work that is.
