I think the problem is more that Viro is often not exactly good with the self indulgent fetish thing. He often tries to make his stories more grounded, for example he orignally planned that in secrets Caitlin Kelly would stuff herself at an eating contest but later changed that to a restaurant because he thought that it would make more sense. The thing is that it making slightly more sense was completely arbitrary because if we just got a scene where Caitlin stuffs herself at an eating contest and then afterwards insists on eating the leftovers of the other competitors or something along the lines it would be just some funny scene and nobody would have complained about it. Like even creamfilled that just exists to be a one dimensional fetish comic just feels contrieved in a weird way so I couldn't really get into it. Before Faf derailed his comic he actually had a much better balance by having a grounded romance story where some dude tried to get a cute girl, only with said girl having a massive overeating fetish and in comparison IHHAT just kinda fumbled around with the fetish stuff where Marci is reluctant troughout most of the comic. I mean having some girl get fatter doesn't means it is automatically good fetish content. Though now that Viro produces a comic that is focused on two fat girls having an eating contest I hope he will be able to live up to the hype, because I think he is capable of upstaging Faf when it comes to the story of Hetty.>>98319

That's the thing, I wouldn't mind the plot if it was better integrated into the fun action but it does feel a bit stop-start at times. He struggles to enmesh the ideas and so things get compartmentalised and completed like a checklist rather than flowing as a natural story. "This is the chapter for exposition, this is the chapter for kink stuff, this is the chapter where they have sex" etc Guy needs to focus on seeing an arc through with a character(s) rather than seeing a comic as a series of events with obligations to fulfil.

>>104096 The thing is that it really isn't that hard to write a somewhat cohesive outline for a story without it flying in the way of the kinky content if you actually try. For example random idea I made up on the spot: Some guy wants to invite a girl from his class to a romantic dinner. Said girl is popular in the school because she is rather well endowed and thicc but other guys that already invited her on a date complained that she just kept eating all their money away by constantly ordering and eating new food until they couldn't afford a new meal and afterwards would dump them. The main guy wants to avoid this by taking her to an all you can eat buffet but she actually manages to clean all the food items and both get kicked out where she admits that she is still hungry but it's fine and she would be interested in a second date. But the main guy who is upset about the situation convinces her to hide in a side room of the restaurant entrance where they can wait until the restaurant closes to snack on the food in the storage room, whick backfires when the girl falls into a food coma after eating everything in there and he has to figure out how to get her out of the restaurant before someone finds them. After he manages to bring her to his house she wakes up and tells him that the actual reason why she wasted the money of the other guys was that she was upset when she realised they were just after her because of her looks but he is the first one to actually care about her as a person and both end up having sex. The End. See with tight pacing you can finish that story in 20-40 pages and it would have an actual plotline without distracting from the fetish content, it's really not that hard to do something like that.

Any idea when Viro will publicly release the new page of the Hetty comic? It has been sitting around on his patreon for some time now. Also maybe the reason why people complain about his stories being too slow is that they are spoon fed with like one page per month. So a few pages of filler that normally wouldn't bother anyone can take up half a year to get over with.
