There was only 3 pieces I reused, and it's not a crime. There's a fourth but it was turned into a May piece. To assume any art of Lynn after the 3 are repurposed Noelle images is just ridiculous.
I've never been "real" upset about it, I'm allowed to be bugged by it but I've never EVER denied the fact that she looks like Noelle. Hearing the same shit all the time just gets old.
And while this comes off as some kind of cope "gotcha" She was blonde before the redesign too, so the only things that carried over from Noelle are the buck teeth and caramel fur, and the whole Deer thing I guess. I very much like buck teeth which is why I now have two (2) bunny girls.
Attached is a timeline image with some (rough) concept art I found from 2015, and she's still blonde. Done mostly for archival purposes but I've avoided sharing here because again, it comes off as coping I guess.
Fun fact: Just like how there's a short ginger girl named Scarlet in that setting, like the Fox of mine, Lynn was originally a sort of human May which is why they both have middle parted bangs.
And while redesigning Lynn was a good way to continue drawing blonde caramel colored buck toothed deer content, it was also done to match Rynn's redesign from 2021, and improve on some story elements for the setting they're in.
The last time I locked my twitter in relation to Lynn content was more the attention some one-off filler doodle got, NOT because she was being compared to Noelle.
The silhouettes are wildly different You're leaving out a post this was adding to. it's not the gotcha you think it is.
While Lynn's fur and hair colors are obviously similar, their silhouettes are not even if they both share key details such as antlers and hooves. if ANYTHING Lynn's is too close to Rynn's. (When facing front but I'm not going to draw that.)
I stopped drawing Noelle cause I shouldn't have been drawing her to begin with even if I really liked her design (which was said to resemble a design i would make, since it follows under my typical design philosophy), and if I want to keep doing the work I do and make connections with other artists that I like I cannot be drawing art of a character that is pretty universally agreed to be under 18.
I won't be and haven't been policing other people drawing her. I'm just not drawing her in porn anymore and if I can have a blond caramel colored buck toothed doe that I have complete control over- age, personality, and setting then that's perfectly fine by me.
Realistically the only people who had a problem with her are that Liepard person and those of you that use this site to bitch about her.
I'm never drawing Noelle in porn again, you can shut up about this.
I'll still draw Noelle whenever I feel like it, but I have more fun drawing Lynn in any kind of art.

It's my own fault for continuing to contribute to the "clone" stigma, I'll admit that the use of that term is contradictory. But it's in reference to other artists who've made characters or sonas loosely based off Noelle who are also Christmas adjacent. But news flash: reindeer girls who like Christmas aren't a thing Toby Fox invented. She's also not the only reindeer girl named Noelle lmao.
