>Even american developers have been using the same ip's for 20+ years
And they're all dead or dying like Hollywood and comics after being subjected to nonstop garbage created by people who don't care about the IP and companies that solely focused on squeezing every little penny out of the franchise. Only thing I see that Konami's making is the Eden's Zero game which is very surprising since Bamco always held some kind of monopoly on anime games. So maybe they found some new people that might eventually be able to do something with their properties, without gambling being involved.
>actively despises its own fans like rareware
Rare died the day Microshit bought it since everyone quit from knowing how evil the company was. Think the only company that was truly successful that was Born from that, was Free Radical. Playtonic didn't get the response they wanted from failing at nostalgia baiting old Banjo Kazooie players with Yooka Laylee (is that what you were talking about?). Now they're publishing the demon loli game /v/ seems to enjoy enough to make some kind of loliluminati with Beebz, and remaking Yooka.
>wayforward
Fuck Wayforward, I hope they go under along with Limited Run Games. They keep getting jobs and shoving their bland ass art and dull gameplay into shit.
>Your logic sucks and this is why you're not a businessman
What, putting out constant failures until the IP is worthless instead of drip feeding collections of loved games that will at least keep the name in peoples minds until you can find someone who can put out a proper grab a swelling of old and new fans, isn't a good idea? Don't forget that more and more young people are trying out more and more retro games over new shit, these days.
