>BW being everyone's darling but actually the low point is pure lmao
The first game to really make changes and have Gamefreak actually sitting down and trying to do work, and the last because some of the big changes (no old Pokemon til post game) alienated the common consumer and I think a good bit of the hardcore players.
>XY is underrepresented. I rarely hear Kalos talk besides talking about them being too easy
It was a garbage generation; if it wasn't for the gens that followed, I'd think it was because it was their first attempt at a 3D Pokemon. Team Flare made the eco terrorists look smart, and Cyrus's plan look practical and realistic. The rivals were absolute garbage that were all constant failures who all happily kissed your ass. I could only find enough new Pokemon for a single team, it was the first entry where the gym leader and Elite 4 designs were either shit or uninteresting (except dragon e4), and Diantha is the worst Champ I've ever witnessed, and it had shit all for post game.
>Alola seems to have a dedicated fanbase that fits that
Never played them but what I can see is the character designs recovered enough for the time being but that music is god awful.
>t feels like I see more Scarlet and Violet talk than I ever did for SwSh which kinda came and went outside controversies like Dexit
If we're speaking about within expansion, I'd say it's probably from the designs pandering to their degenerate tastes and causes, while also being not only in a school setting but one that's open to any age.
This talk made me want to bully Shauna until she's fucking destroyed before rebuilding her into her old pure bubbly self but whenever she ends up in a fight, she turns into endgame Paul.

>push it to be more multi layered and nuanced
All they did was give it an actual story beyond the usual stop the evil teams antics and some world lore here and there.
>This meant cutting out all of the old pokemon and focusing purely on the new ones
That wasn't "multi layered" or "nuanced", they just wanted to push people into trying out the new Pokemon without falling back on their old favorites.
>pokemon fans turned away because they hate quality
Because they're creatures of habit who don't care as long as they get their fix; had they released what they did in BW2, instead of the originals, it probably would've came close to dethroning G2.
>X and Y is a bad remake of Pokemon RBGY
Pic related, the fuck are you talking about?

>Continuing my rant
>Making a second post instead of dumping that little in one post
Raging faggot.
>This is why Sun and Moon is the only 3D pokemon that is defended as the "Good 3D Pokemon game".
No, it'd be because all the other games are worse; Pokemon fans still around buy whatever mainline and eat it up.

>Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald was due to the fact that said games suffered from weirdly inferior visuals
That's what the kids these days are calling endless water routes?
>Archie and Maxie either were going to cause Water World or Mad Max. neither was an improvement and would have been extremely difficult to reverse
And, you'd jump on the chance to use a Pokemon to cause mass fattening; it's what's called greed, and it can involve people wanting and going for things that can fuck others, without a care in the world.
