3D Modeled Fat Thread Anonymous 01/21/2025 (Tue) 20:49:52 Id:430f01 No. 241173
Despite "3D" being right there in the description of what this board covers, there isn't a single thread specifically dedicated to 3D art and animation on here, so I figured I should fix that. Post 3D fats of all kinds; Doesn't matter if it's rendered in blender, maya, unity, unreal, godot, SFM, cinema4D, or some janky crap you created by yourself out of assembly code and prayer, as long as it's got three dimensions and is obese. I'd even be cool with psuedo-3D art & animation that's actually 2D but just very convincing personally, not sure how it'd gel with others and/or any rules regarding thread topics though. While I'm currently working on my own amateur hobbyist attempts at making low-poly 3D fat girls that haven't produced any visible results yet (sitting through blender tutorials to refresh my knowledge after a year away from the program isn't exactly the sexiest thing ever), I do at least have a few hopefully-decent images saved to help start the thread off, so here you go. Assuming I actually get anywhere with the aforementioned fat modeling endeavor before we all die of old age, I'll of course post them here, no promises on product quality though. (last one is spoilered for happy trail, stretch marks and some frankly semi-janky body proportions)
we need more 3d fat art/animations im currently saving up money for a better pc and motivated to learn blender also the last render specifically the model looks great!
>>241184 Agreed, and as someone who's sunk over 2 years into blender now after initially getting into it to make vrchat avatars, I strongly recommend at least giving it a try to see if it's something you enjoy. I won't lie to you or sugarcoat it however, the initial learning curve can be a real bitch to adjust to, but once it "clicks" modeling and rigging can become a fun and oddly-zen hobby to mess around with, certainly did for me. It also helps immensely when you learn tricks to make certain aspects much easier and less tedious, like figuring out how to make automatic weighting do most of the heavy lifting with rigging and reduce the need for manual weight painting, which sucks and I hate it with a passion. Another thing to consider is that, as long as you aren't trying to do super-fancy rendering/video in blender, and you're alright with doing lower-poly work like the Brazilian Miku model in the OP, you can still make some good stuff even while working on a toaster. And if it doesn't end up being your thing, you can always try side-stepping to other artistic pursuits like 2D art, some of the principles and digital program functions are similar and will carry over shockingly well, despite how radically-different the art forms in question are in most senses. Even just knowing your way around the simplest concepts like working with layers goes a long way with digital art programs, and all the good ones tend to have similar UIs and function sets due to them being what works best, kind of like how nature loves to keep evolving crab species independently. Oh yeah, and I do have one more image like that last one for you, will spoiler again due to body hair for anyone who's not into it. I'd rather not flashbang anyone with it, better safe than sorry. I do have some additional 3D fats, but they're either MP4 files I need to run through Handbrake and turn into WEBMs, or in the case of two of them, they're still images of Pearl groping a huge Marina that are site-banned, presumably for copyright reasons (presumably artist, but the idea of Nintendo laying claim and saying "no, this is OUR morbidly obese octopus woman, fuck off" is much funnier to me). I'll work on the MP4s and post them when I get around to converting them.
Here's the promised webms now that I ran them through handbrake, enjoy
tbh id love to make some anims with big babes in blender, i just dont have any models lolol. if anyone knows where i can find any for any 3d software lmk!

>>241278 Depending on what level of quality you're willing to work with and/or how much editing you're wiling to do, there's a few options for getting premade models: Most obvious choice is SmutBase, basically a big repository for blender porn models and plugins. Most if not all of them come with nude bits available under the clothing or as the only version, and they're typically pretty decently high-poly with good textures, so modifying them to be fat should be pretty easy if you know what you're doing. They're usually pre-rigged as well, both with standard bones usable by game engines and with whatever fancy unique animation rigging blender uses specifically for rendering/animating, don't really understand the latter but I'm working on learning it along with other newer elements since my knowledge is stuck around version 2.98. Second best option I know of would be its sister site, SFMLab. Much more SFW, but if you're already modifying them to be morbidly-obese, adding nipples and vaginas to them if you decide to isn't a huge leap, especially since SB mentioned above already has premades of both you can stitch onto models to add them easily. Has a lot more model variety thanks to not being as narrowly-focused on porn, so it might be better for finding more niche content or just a better variety in general. Should still be of similar quality in terms of polycount, meshes, rigging and texturing. Next up is Models Resource, which is a big-ass dump of ripped models from a wide variety of console and PC games, of varying quality and complexity. Unless you're downloading relatively-recent game models like current-gen PC and console ones, or staying within the polycount and style constraints of something much older like N64/PS1 on purpose, you're probably going to have do a LOT of modification on these to make them both fat and decent-looking. Another consideration is that MR is by nature limited to only copyrighted characters, even in the customs sections. Also, a lot of them come unrigged, so I recommend either being familiar with rigging models yourself or using something automated like mixamo/accurig to do it for you easily. Lastly that I know of, you can trawl through deviantart, sketchfab, opengameart, and various other decently well-known model repositories to try and get models to tinker with. No guarantees you'll find anything good this way, but you never know, sometimes you'll get lucky and find a diamond in the rough. I've seen some fantastic BBW models on sketchfab for example, but sadly they were set to not be downloadable and only viewable, for some reason.
