Problem with armor suits nowadays is that they all just look like biker gear instead of actual armor with metal plates. Iron mans nanotech suit is probably the biggest reason for that since when it got revealed everyone thought it was cool and unique with how a suit is created out of thin air, but now everyone suddenly has a nanotech suit as if they can just buy it in walmart
