I came up with this while listening to The Mind Electric which fits well with saiya in this story.

A funny thought, and a notion that was floated in the previous thread: what if Tania isn't actually being malicious but genuinely trying to be helpful with some weird weight loss concoction that is inadvertently having side effects on Tessa (the bloating, the brain fog memory loss)? With Saiya visiting and checking on Tessa over the course of the week, now concerned from what she witnessed from the first night, and feeding her, Tania might try to ply Tessa with more doses as clearly something isn't working - she should be avoiding food but she somehow isn't! Her plan for helping Tessa being unwittingly undone by Saiya. By the end of it, Tessa's in fact gained a pound or two and Tania can't figure it out. It's still not outside of bounds for Tania to be a red herring about Syndicate X all this time.

Yes, she is very kind and all, but does this piece of ass-focused midlard every do anything besides surprised Pikachu face when Saiya, "against all the expectations" turns out to be a shit-eating pervert? No, of course not! They could have replaced the fucking church with the girl scouts of all things and there would legitimately be zero difference. For all intents and purposes, Aika is a sexually aware child. I have legitimately never seen a more one-dimensional character being put on paper than this cardboard cutout of a fat ass solely designed to farm wholesome 100 reddit karma. She's attractive, perverting Stacy (probably? I don't think Stacy is that much into this stuff), (somehow still) competing for Saiya and completely content being the human equivalent of a marketable plushie. And the worst thing is, I completely get why people think she is the better girl of the two. She's probably still more autonomous in her actions than Tessa. For all her bravado and high-strung outburst she is little more than a former nerd/outcast (remember that? Stacy showed us that picture like 400 years ago, Tessa really isn't such a popular girl by nature) who got picked up by Stacy, started believing her own hype only to get chewed up and spit out the second her massive degeneracy and lack of concern with the relationships of others got outed so bad that she could make a full-on bed with all the feathers she lost. In my opinion Tessa is nothing more than a blown-around beach ball in this story, needing to be controlled by others to achieve even a semblance of stability. She functions if and only if someone else is there to shitcoddle her out of ruining everything for herself. It's actually quite tragic, really. She is permanently in way over her head. Tessa was never ready to become as popular (for both right and wrong reasons) as she eventually turned out to be. Stacy is probably one of the worst people in this comic, despite her recent "redemption arc". I think she quite literally ruined Tessa's life. I don't know what Tania is doing with her now, but it feels like it isn't much better - in fact, it's probably much, much worse. At least Stacy isn't an inflation fetishist. That said, I still think Tessa is the better girl. Did she make many a dubious or even outright awful decision? Yes. Is this because she was never meant to be in a position where she could make such decisions? Also yes. She's a very flawed person, but also a person who should have never gotten into the mess in which she now is. She also has two other very convincing arguments - I'm a chest man more than anything. What I would change to make it more clear to the reader (besides embiggening the camvas to give more space), is make the audience more split and doubtful, making rumors of doubt instead of humiliating jokes in the second panel, make her belly and sides smaller but more clearly compressed, to give a strikingly obvious fake hourglass figure in contrast to her fat everything else; and add some outlines in the dress of the corset before and after bursting, accompanied by a snap or rip sound effect to make it as clear as possible to the reader.
