I don't remember if this was ever addressed (forgive if it has), but what happens with the Kumas that don't put on a shit ton of weight before winter? I think one of the more egregious things Kip did was his reaction to Sandy being the most popular character in NLB was to turn her from a rare side character autist into a regular occurrence who then became a very stupidly thought out one dimensional antagonist. A plot that fell flat for many, many reasons, one of those things leading to the rat eating which was another shitstorm and the large amount of awful people that were already regular characters. Basically a big problem with Kip is he tends to prefer writing characters with shitty personalities you could find in real life but with wings for ears, it doesn't feel satisfying to read and you kind of want half the cast or more to get hit by a vehicle, not to launch them into an isekai but into a hospital

Slow pacing, bad writing or lack of focus on weight gain, what I'm sure pixiveo does pride himself on is this world, because it all seems (and I think actually *is*) thought out all before the story even started to be drawn. I actually respect pix for this, because 90% of fetish stories that are being released page-by-page just roll with whatever the fanbase wants to happen.

Pix is mind controlling us for sure. The comic has gone on for so long and now this eugenics thing has basically pushed the sanity of it all over the edge into being okay now. I swear to god Pix just make it so Myu has to get fat in order to save the world or something. Calorie-sucking diet aliens invade the world and she's patient zero due to her fat cat genes. She fights them off with Big Macs in each hand. Let's go let's go

Remember when the story made it a big deal that non-bear people would now be allowed to compete as sub-fats in a team? And now all of team protag is at least part bear-person which gives them an unfair genetic advantage over everyone else?

Something that does bug me about Pix's artstyle that I abhor is how the kumas' tails are drawn. They look like shitty little plastic blobs sticking out of their ass rather than an actual tail that has fur on it. I wish they had a bit more texture to their lines, at least. The neko tails are similarly textured, but they're long enough to actually look like tails.

This month’s calendar post is the first one in about three years with less than 10 Log Myu pages promised to be posted. Since mid 2023 he’s shorted his patrons something around 30 pages of the comic and has never addressed it. Also the goals associated with more revenue seem to have quietly disappeared. Not to mention the painfully drawn out release of Midori. Towards the end of that comic it felt like he was just sitting on pages to squeeze more cash out of his fanbase. He needs to be more realistic and upfront about how much he is releasing because it feels like he is constantly behind on deadlines he set himself.

I could be pleasantly surprised with VVV going all-out and cinching it, but it really feels like Nadette is gonna get pushed to incorporate some of the planning stuff she ignored before. Either way we're gonna end up with at least six plot-important blobs, so I'm just happy to be along for the ride.

I hope when this comic ends we can get a dragon ball z Kai version where all the fat gets trimmed for a more streamline experience, and am abridged version where select pages are chosen with edits to visuals and dialogue to make it funnier and perhaps better(?).
