The Fattest woman in Ireland Anonymous 01/10/2024 (Wed) 03:27:45 No. 8298
Has anyone heard of this book? There's not much information on it and none of the sellers of the book have anything to say about it either. No written reviews exist and it appears to be out of print too.
>>8360 damn, I wasn't expecting that. I see what you mean after looking through the first couple pages about the irish dialect but its not as distracting as I thought it would be. Im exciting to dig into this now and im pretty stoked that it was actually something relevant to us
>>8361 I’m a bit dyslexic so it’s a chore, glad it works okay for you. And yeah, besides maybe Grand Obese this is the closest a “mainstream” novel has ever come WG fetish fic.

>>8360 thank you. may your endeavours be richly rewarded. :)
>>8360 >https://we.tl/t-FMx4qo82Dt Any chance of a re-up? Missed it.
>>8395 NP: https://we.tl/t-Icjgjk2qwi
>>8397 Any chance of a reup, seems the latest link is dead?
what is it about? >>8363 nice work
>>8453 Once more for literature's sake: https://we.tl/t-CwjPtDpsvG >>8457 Super-fat girl from a small town in Ireland (duh) is on her way to becoming a shut-in but winds up a celebrity when the town builds a "Fat Fest" around her. Takes place in the Aughts, written in dialect which I found annoying but worth the slog.
reup please?
Damn I also missed it
Can I also nudge here? I thought I had downloaded this darn thing, but seems I lost it somewhere.
I would love to read it as an Irish feeder, see how close it is to reality
>>8638 >>8661 >>8677 >>8685 Bain taitneamh as! https://we.tl/t-xfxLPJM7Lz
Godbless!
Airport stocks tumbling. Planes falling apart. Ceos stepping down. Southwest going to shit. What will you do after this phase? Its super slow by trump
>>8696 Re-up please? It's already gone
>>8779 I put it on gofile this time, hopefully it'll hang around a little longer. https://gofile.io/d/vprFn3

>>8790 I hate asking for a necro, but I apparently misplaced or never downloaded this. Help a brother out?
>>8961 Here you go: https://gofile.io/d/RVM1AJ I cleaned it up a little in the meantime, single pages rather than spreads, dewarped the pages somewhat and fixed the contrast. I'd love to OCR this thing but the tools I've tried haven't done a great job with it.
>>8970 Thank you so much, I am not worthy.
>>8973 My pleasure. This really needs to be better known. It's the best non-fetish WG/fat fetish book I've ever read by a mile. Grand Obese has dropped to distant second. Thank the OP for bringing it to my attention. Gonna try again with OCR and hopefully make a phone-friendly version.
Hate to bump without anything to add but I would really appreciate it if anyone was able to upload another copy, the link has stopped working again
>>9402 Here you go: https://gofile.io/d/JoPivw I'd love to share this as a text doc rather than a giant PDF but Acrobat, Word, and a few other apps I've tried haven't done a good job with it. If anyone knows a good OCR program (that doesn't cost a lot), let me know.
1 page in. This is autism.
Read it. Was pretty good, but I dont think a small town in 1980s Ireland would be so accepting of homos, especially the entire local Catholic church.
can someone reup? i could have sworn i had downloaded it
>>9410 Look around
>>10111 At the risk of furthing autism awareness, here you go: https://gofile.io/d/knS9Dm
Got a copy in the mail today. Will report thoughts.
>>10374 Did you buy secondhand? It's unavailable on amazon
>>10669 It is in the US version: https://www.amazon.com/Fattest-Woman-Ireland-Patricia-Armstrong/dp/0982444109
Dang I'm late to this, any chance of a re-up please?
>>10675 Here you go: https://gofile.io/d/s2jcQa
>>10681 Thank you so much!
Hey, I just discovered this board. Any chance we could get one more re-up?
>>11052 Enjoy! https://gofile.io/d/71bBsZ
>>11055 Thank you King
I beg bruddah
>>11387 I'd say "one more time" but there will probably be more times. Anyway, enjoy! https://gofile.io/d/hQARRA
>>11389 My Don
>>11389 Can I get a reupload please just fond this thread
>>12044 Enjoy: https://gofile.io/d/A47un7 I may have found an OCR method that can turn this into a more feasible text file but it's a little labor intensive and I haven't had time. Stay tuned...
I want to read this but the choice to have the entire novel written is this particular Irish dialect is very grating. It would be one thing to write the dialogue like this but to have the narration also be in this dialect is certainly a choice. So my only question for those who've read it: Do they actually say a number to her weight or are they just vague with it?
>>12091 It's challenging but worth it IMO. I found the more you read the easier it gets, you start to follow the rhythm. First person and it's like she's talking to you. I'm not sure numbers are mentioned, though there are a lot of detailed descriptions of her size and how she interacts with the world so you get the idea. I actually prefer when they show don't tell but that's me. This was meant to be mainstream fiction, not fetish stuff. Written by a woman no less.

At long last, an easy to digest text file for this: https://gofile.io/d/q590cT I cleaned it up best I could without making it a second job, but there are probably all kinds of typos because with the Irish dialect spell check/grammar check are useless. Also the italics are all gone because the OCR applied them randomly and I figured it'd be less distracting to read it all roman than a mishmosh. Anyway, enjoy.
>>12136 Any chance of yet another re-up for the latecomers?
>>12751 Happy to! https://gofile.io/d/hb1t6j (Just remember to download it, don't try to read it online bc gofile isn't kind to rtf files.)
>>12752 many thanks. I'm Irish and this shit is impossible to read. The dialect is hammed up and not like what you'd actually hear in that area.
>>12759 Yup, the writer is American lol. What can I say, you have such an amazing country that we visit, fall in love, and then start cosplaying. I got into the flow after a few pages and the effort was worth it, imo. Reminds me of Irvine Welsh or James Kelman though they're Scottish.
