I want to read this but the choice to have the entire novel written is this particular Irish dialect is very grating. It would be one thing to write the dialogue like this but to have the narration also be in this dialect is certainly a choice. So my only question for those who've read it: Do they actually say a number to her weight or are they just vague with it?

I'm not sure numbers are mentioned, though there are a lot of detailed descriptions of her size and how she interacts with the world so you get the idea.
