Different ideas of "Plus Size", FA vs Normie men Anonymous 11/03/2024 (Sun) 14:41:06 Id:fcf77b No. 56085
Interesting occurrence happened while I was out earlier grabbing a drink with some male co-workers, street drinking and some people watching. The topic of girls we're attracted to came up, and I brought up that I was into plus sized girls, which was met with great surprise - though not hostile. Though later, one of the guys kept asking about nearby girls who walked by asking "like her, yeah?" and they were all fsr too skinny for me, and I think just objectively not fat. Just had maybe some muscle on their legs or a round face. Now, I do live in Japan, so I get that the standard for fat or chubby is a bit different than elsewhere. But it really was discouraging that the conceivable notion for these "normie" people of what an attractive fat girl could be was just so so skinny.
BITD when Anna Nicole Smith had her reality show, I knew she was considered "fat" but I also assumed given her hourglass shape, big titties, and pretty, thin face she'd have crossover appeal. But in talking to a normie friend and my dad, Nope, she was sexy as livestock to them. I think tastes are changing, somewhat, but there's always gonna be a big gulf between normies upper limits and our minimums.
It may be more extreme in Japan, but yeah normie standards are way different to our definition of fat and so on Sometimes when you hear people talking about women and somebody is mentioning one that is barely chubby or slightly plus size maybe like low end bbws maximum.. Like a bit of belly, ass or legs Nothing we'd consider hot or our type They act like that woman is 300+ or even more While my definition of fat begins at maybe 300 or a little less (depending on height and distribution) I always wonder how these people see the 400/600 lbs women that we love
This is called Hollywood fat, how the story treats a woman as fat when she's a little chubby. Like she gains a little weight and has a bit of a paunch and then the story treats her as though she's gained a ton of weight or is as big as a sumo wrestler. In Japan, since most Japanese people don't get super fat, they would treat being a little chubby as though they're super duper fat. For women, it can also be if they're curvier. When they have bigger boobs/butt and a somewhat thicker midsection but lacking a belly. That they want to say the reason she has big boobs is because she eats a lot even though she doesn't have much of a belly. For dudes when they're built like american football players. Or when they have the beer gut. This is what we FAs face, how many shows/movies/magazines keep having "Fat characters" who either have a bit of a belly or just wear unflattering clothes that make them look fat. Japan is like this because they don't encounter a lot of super fat people so their ideas of "fat" is gaining a little weight or treating a slight weight gain as though they gained a ton of weight. As well as Korea.
>>56168 Yeah I like living here but it's just not the place for me long term, as shallow as a reason as that may be. I need my true BBWs. Women will talk so often about gaining weight in public and how "fat" they are here, and it would be hot to overhear, but they're still so small and skinny. "最近めっちゃ太ってきてん…まじやばくない?" I hear housewife types chatting with each other all the time, but they're like 70 kg at the very most.
>>56174 my american midwest wife is almost 400# and went to japan a few years ago. she is a weeb, and i think she wants to move there but im like honey that place isnt built for you :)
>>56212 I often joked about having women's sumo, and calling it BBWrestling.
