Anyone do Combat Sports? Anonymous 11/18/2024 (Mon) 22:01:25 Id:ca1d1e No. 56725
Anyone here do combat sports like boxing, Muay thai, BJJ, etc? Anyone else have fat GFs and find the contrast of the two very different lifestyles funny?
There’s also the third option of getting a GF who’s into sumo so the two lifestyles converge lmao
>>56734 I thought there was a huge taboo against having women in sumo. I remember the first time I saw a JAV BBW, I was sure sumo would be everywhere, but there wasn't.
I also thought the image of sumo is that of a tough manly man sport and having sexy women do it would feel weird. Wouldn't it be like if we had scantily clad women do american football/rugby? Would anyone find that sexy or weird? I figured that's why few Japanese BBW works tap into Female sumo, they view the sport as a manly man thing so putting women into it and sexualizing it would feel more weird than sexy to most creators and to a potential audience. There is a cultural/religious thing to it too so putting sexy babes into it would likely be seen as disrespectful as well as being too weird to find sexy. The sport has religious ties so sexualizing the participants and stuff related to it could be seen as a way to anger a lot of people. I also see that not a lot of creators are interested in the sport, so doing loads of works/characters related to it wouldn't interest them, like not all americans are into american football/baseball. I note that most sumo characters aren't portrayed as sexy/attractive, male creators can certainly do beefcake, guess that for most straight male mangaka, sumo wrestlers don't fit their idea of beefcake. Plus japanese women are expected to be delicate, lithe and demure, the exact opposite of a sumo wrestler. So most Japanese men wouldn't find the idea of a female sumo wrestler to be sexy. I mean, yeah I know there are creators that are into muscle babes and female wrestlers/action babes, I guess the idea that sport is dude only makes the idea of female sumos something that most mangaka aren't willing to do. It disregards basic rules of the sport, defies religious traditions and sexualizes something that is meant to be serious. Cause sexualizing female wrestling/having action babes is seen as more appealing and doable over having sexy female sumos. Maybe things can change, if Plus-size elf could get made and have an anime made, maybe one day, we'll get a story of sexy female sumos, and to depict them gaining weight as sexy. I like to hold out hope, it's annoying to have a million people be angry and negative about this. If Plus-sized elf could happen, maybe this story could happen one day too.
Growing up I did some jiujitsu, and I was paired with a woman probably 200 pounds+ for a drill where I had to escape from under her body weight.
>>56772 >>56779 I was mostly just cracking a joke, I’m aware that’s a very uncommon thing
>>56799 A lot of the women on my school played rugby and bulked up hard for it.
>>56816 Unfathomably based
For the female rugby/american football story I threw out, not saying that it can't be done or that female players of those sports don't exist. Just if a story where female players of those sports play them in bikinis/lingerie would be more weird than sexy. Just wondered if that's how a Japanese audience would view a story about scantily clad female sumos. I also did digging and saw that female sumo was practiced over the years and there is some art and photos of female sumo wrestlers and in some cases was the equivalent to mud wrestling. Guessing that it happening less and less over time just makes it not something for creators to run with in their stories as it happens less in less in their culture. Even if they were to justify it in period pieces, a potential audience wouldn't be interested in it. As well as the mainstream sumo losing popularity, so focusing on it for a lot of stories wouldn't be interesting. Guessing when a tale does sexy female yokai, that's a concept that interests a male audience and it wouldn't feel weird to find sexy.
For why I wondered about no female sumo story, I ask because Anime/manga is known for sexualizing various things, especially stuff from Japanese culture. Whether it's yokai, samurai, ninja, high school. I thought that sexualizing sumo wrestling would be an easy thing to do. I was just curious why aren't there more works about sexy female sumos? Why no stories of female sumo wrestlers sexily wrestling each other and getting into sexy situations outside the dohyo (ring)? Why isn't it a subgenre in anime/manga? What about the sport keeps it from being sexualized in such a manner similar to other stuff in Japanese culture? That's what my little analysis is. To understand what about the sport keeps managaka from focusing on it a lot. Or deciding to put sexy women in it and making it a subgenre of ecchi/hentai.

>>56856 >>56928 Pic related; it's Anon not only still not getting why no one bothers with Sumo after dozens of times people explaining the reason why , but also being completely incapable of grasping the blatantly obvious reasons even a child would notice.
>>56787 I also train jiu jitsu and would like to share my experience. Theres a couple of women who train but its still a male dominated sport. A lot of my women friends who train are small thin conventally attractive women but nothing really gets it going for me. However, there is this one woman who has been there for a long time, was always on the thicker side when I started training. She had a stocky waist, thick thighs, and broad shoulders and was about 5'10 so a big woman. She's a purple belt but had a injury in her knee during training that took her out for a few months but when she came back she definetly put on a lot of weight, I'm bad at telling them but she was clearly between 200 and 250 lbs. I remember during a class she joked about being a "gordita" and whenever I roll with her she usually gets heavy top pressure as I'm a much smaller guy having me in mount. I don't really do much because her husband also trains with her but its kinda hot thinking about this training fighter bbw squashing me with all her weight trying to submit me.
I also wish more bbws leaned into sumo or even just plus size women who I see a lot in tiktok being involved in the gym scene try sumo out. It would be one of the best things ever to see grow
Maybe we could suggest more plus-size women take up sumo and suggest it to BBW models, maybe send them mawashis and suggest they do stuff with sumo wrestling in pics/videos. Like message them and ask models if they can do it in videos/pics that they could tap into something different
Maybe instead of complaining about the lack of BBW sumos, try to do something about it? Like write stuff with BBW sumos? Or encourage BBW models to try sumo wrestling content in their videos/pics and encourage BBW athletes to take it up? Even if they don't do so, we should at least try. And as I said, we could argue to models that it's something different to try out. Something that isn't done a lot.
>>56990 i've commissioned a lot of sumo content over the years. I wish more girls did it regularly. i think there's probably a decent market for it. sadly the feedback i get from most girls is that creating the video itself is too physically exerting for them
>>57850 this is true I messaged bchubs if she could do a sumo roleplay video for me and sadly she told me the sumo stretches and warmpups were too much for her body to handle and she refunded me. I assume shes like 400lbs plus so I think thats the limit.
