No, I certainly don't.
Anyone who bothers to read world history books can see that his actions are pretty typical of the figurehead leader of a fascist movement.
Just a few examples: the way he's exploited a democracy weakened by systematic complacency and detatchment to come into power, the cult of personality he's developed around himself including fanatical rallies and signage, parphanalia and sloganeering, the blaming "the left" and minorities on every single problem in increasingly dehumanizing fashion (including outright made up stories designed to get his base mad), the widespread attacking, gutting and reshaping of education and public sector jobs, constantly keeping his base in a frenzied state of anger by exploiting the press, the way he promises to bring the country back to an idealized past that never really existed, the extreme isolationalism, overriding the checks and balances in the rest of the government, the erosion leading to elimination of due process, the tepid and lukewarm alignment with right leaning business people due to shared hate for left leaning worker's rights movements, etc.
He's basically in lockstep with early 20th century fascist movements with a few American twists, and I'm not sure how anybody whose looked at the evidence can think otherwise.
The best course of action is to remove him from power ASAP, before he gets us all involved in a "war to end all wars" and sends us or our kids off to die in China. Second best is to just put up as much resistance as possible and reduce the president's scope of power (probably a good idea anyway) until he can be removed from office with the typical democratic process.
The deck is stacked against any quick solution, so more than likely this is going to end the same way any successful fascist movement ends: tons of people will die as our society regresses, and the turning point won't come until they start asking the general population to sacrifice their lives to appease Trump's ego. At this point the leaders will either face the mobs or off themselves before that happens.
But yeah, I don't worship the guy.
