Note that this is just a self-theory I came up with. Not saying this is entirely true, but I can't help but want to talk about it. Also this is not a Mochii Babii thread and she isn't the sole reason for it. Just the biggest example, and this is not meant to spread any hate towards her or anyone else.
Get things out the way incase you don't want to read, I believe that Mochii Babii has affected the feederism scene in such a way that unfortunately I feel like it's been plagued a bit.
Let me explain. Mochii started in 2020 I believe during the pandemic. Perfect time to get fat. Before that though, this community I'd say was a bit more tame compared to now, and less known of. Of course known models existed before 2020 like TayTay, Goddess Shar, Tianastummy, LMBB, Reiinapop, etc. Most notably some SSBBWs that still make content to this day was making content way back then like Foxxie, Bobbery, Jae, Jackie, etc. I will get back on the topic of those SSBBWs in a bit.
But the point I'm trying to make is, most feedee models were slow gainers then. The most popular ones now aren't really new, but they were new then and it took them a while to even reach their current sizes. This still holds true I believe for newer, slower gaining feedees, but they're more obscure compared to models who gain quickly. Also if you were to compare the average video now to before then, there's a massive difference. Of course a part of that is technology evolving to the general public, but no one was really using high quality cameras all that often.
Mochii really started with high quality cameras, which were an upgrade, but not the main point. I'm sure all of you remember her insane 30 day indulgence challenge back then. She quickly got popular in this scene, and afterwards she kept eating enormous amount of food. The result of that, she gained weight extremly fast in such a short time. She was already about twice her body weight 2-3 years since she started out and then some.
Now although that was hot, she got hit with serious health issues. There were multiple occasions where she could've died, hince the amount of hiatuses she had. It's a fact that gaining (and losing) a lot of weight can overwork your body, which leads to long term health problems or death. It's more healthy to gain at a slower pace, since that allows your body to get used to the weight, and also less mobility problems.
Going back on the older SSBBW models, models like Bobbery for example are more mobile and healthier dare I say at their size compared to someone who are 200-300 pounds less than them, who done nothing but indulge and sit on their ass to gain as fast as possible. More of the older SSBBW models has been fat pretty much most of their online career, and have slowly gained weight until it became to unbearable to handle and they're forced to lose, or just straight up die. Of course being morbidly obese is unhealthy regardless, but you're better off a 500 pounds being semi active (traveling, walks, etc) and eating more healthy compared to 300 pounds who does little to no exercise, and eats greasy fatty foods all day. That is what Mochii did exactly and I feel like she changed the scene towards that direction, in both models themselves and how these bozos be acting here.
There are some feedees who gained more weight than they should've in a year compared to someone like Candii Kayn who would probably put on about 20-40 pounds within that same time frame. Not saying it ain't hot because I find it so, but it decreases their modeling years. It gets to a point where being fat isn't fun anymore, and with the amount of idiots who just makes it worse for them, they end up quitting. Tianastummy is an example of both, since she gained slowly for a long time up until last year where she put on a lot of weight in a short amount of time. As hot as it was, she encountered mobility issues and she herself stated that she was uncomfortable at her size, and now she's back to slowly putting on pounds since then/maintaining. I feel like too many gets too lost in their inner desires where it becomes more of a chore than an interest, and also trying to chase that same, or similar fame and money Mochii got from doing it.
This has also affected the consumers, mainly people on this site. The number one thing I hate seeing is how people complain about a model not gaining weight. They expect to see a lot of growth overtime, but when someone is at the same size as 4 months ago, they want to complain and throw out that they don't really care, how they need a feeder, etc. I don't know how this site was before 2020 or around that time, but I fail to understand why people like them are so impatient and don't want to enjoy the process in the long run. Plus slow gainers normally have better fat distribution than fast ones, and they like to flip the script and complain someone got too fat, when they are the same people who wants them to put on 100 pounds in a year.
Again this is just a self/fan theory that I noticed, and Mochii Babii just happens to be the biggest example of it. Not trying to spread hate towards her, or any feedee/model. I'm sure they're are many more examples, and this is just highlighting the more-so vocal minority in the entire scene and on this site. But since they are loud, I wanted to talk about it. What do you think about this and do you agree or disagree? Got anything else to add to this?
