He no longer has the writing direction of b-ridge to help out in terms of tieing up character endings, so that could be why but you should never start off a series and not be able to handle fixing it up properly when someone is no longer there to accompany you in writing.
There's so many characters we've yet to see again that you might think would have already had some wrap-up in the last 2 chapters but not really. He picked and chose one of the most infamous characters to come back; the mother-baby woman. He brought Diane back (ice cream girl) but yet again, came back for one purpose and then again in the epilogue just for a light expansion scene.
Then we have Andrea who he had really better give some sort of proper ending, otherwise it'll be clear He doesn't really care about the direction of this series whatsoever. We see her in love with wendy again at the end of the 2nd epilogue and once in the first issue of the epilogue.
So far, we've yet to see a fuck ton of previous characters or what happened to them. I don't care for the shrunken gummy guy or the cow, or the baby character. The egg girl that started off as a guy who got tged, gained weight and shrunk had potential for more but was used in a really fly-by-night-ish expansion scene which I see as one of the best in the comic yet still showing of how his writing on his own isn't the best. The gummy bear girl just flies into a rage, blows her up and then she's not seen again. Was meant to be used as a trap for wendy but since okayok would've rather had an age regression scene fastened up into the next issue, this didn't happen.
Then we have some of the characters from the first issue who are supposedly... gone, atleast from okayoks interests. The peep lawyer, the marshmallow producing woman, The girl who tried to steal Wendy's shit and got fattened up and then used as a seat, the girl who ate all the mini-pies. Then the skater girl. She caused this whole chocolate-tsunami shit that happened in the second issue. Yet, once again, nowhere to be seen.
If the weird fucking baby character gets to appear out of nowhere, why don't these characters? The skater girl would make the most sense to get some space, atleast a panel or two, since she's wreaked the most havoc.
The most recent open-ended storyline we've got in the story is when wynns mother wanted to fill up the cherry girl and with the events of the last issue, nothing of the sort has happened. We have about 2 issues left including the one that just half-dropped and there's no signs showing that anything will be done with it as of yet.
The only thing I could see as truly fixing the fuck-up writing we've had since around the 5th issue of the 2nd chapter is extending this epilogue past whatever he has planned for it. I don't quite understand why he's retiring the wendy wonka comics anyhow; he's supposedly going to make inflation/expansion/tf comics in the same sort of anthology style that his crib keeper comics have, which I've never cared for so I wouldn't know how it looks from that end. It sounds like a fun idea and he won't have to work with these long-lasting stories like WW, but his reasoning is sort of bad. He doesn't like the idea of wendy wonka becoming a 'universe' media. Referring to capeshit like the MCU and the DCU. Not knowing you could give this comic 100 more chapters without it becoming a universe comic.
