Guess it's my turn to share the bad news regarding Chutes and free proxy access. Pretty sad that they're just making "free" paywalled instead of tightening their security measures and just banning people that abuse the daily 200 message count with alternate accounts. Openrouter still has a daily limit of 50 I guess, but I'd be lying if I didn't say this diminished my interests with coming back from my bot creation hiatus (I was pretty close to coming back prior to this lol). Daily 200 seemed very generous to me and I never an into any problems with that from a user perspective. Hopefully Chutes changes their mind or something on account of feedback and backlash. Sucks that people abused a generous system that now ruined a good thing for everyone else.

It frequently happens for me typically when characters extensively belch and I basically need to read the message via the edit command to see all of the bot's message. Honestly this probably would have fit better as a Fourth of July bot, but eh. Regardless, this bot is a sort of mix between fat-world scenario and character. Did my best to make sure both sides work (partially why the definition is so big, but a lot of that is dialog examples). The initial scenario needs to have enough meat to be compelling, and the bot needs enough 'style' to carry a certain kind of vibe (i use free models, like a peasant, so this is important) - then i'll run relatively tight contained narratives branching off of that bot's start position, developing in short order a defined location, relationships, etc. I'll often include time skips to save on tokens, and slightly tweak bot behaviors in order to keep the narrative on track. If things go well, I am satisfied with the exchange before the bot becomes braindead, and immediately scrap the convo. The only janitorai/proxy solution ive found that has worked has been to drop 10 bucks on openrouter, create a key that is restricted to 0$ charges, then use free openrouter models. YMMV on the quality of free models, but there are several to bounce between. Its better than the JLLM anyway. Took a bit to figure out. Forget any solution you find referring to Chutes, that well has dried up.

After using the new free character.ai model, I can say it's a big improvement over old char.ai. If you aren't willing to spend money on a chatbot, I'd say it's better than what Janitor can offer. It's quick, and it doesn't have "writing quirks" as apparent or write giant walls of text either. The filter is practically nonexistent if you retry your prompts a few times. The only problem with Character AI is the horrible search system, making it very hard to find new or good bots. So if anyone has new Character AI bots, feel free to share. What's the best site to currently make erotic fat fetish bots? I see a lot of people using janitor ai and spicy chat - are both equally as good? Are there any other sites that are ideal? >>36762 > limited by daily messages I was also a longtime janitor.ai skeptic but realistically if you use both gemini and deepseek (they both can be unstable) and prompt them to write messages as long as they can (without sacrificing quality) then you should never need to hit the message limits. there is something specifically good about character.ai being built for back and forth chat dialogues but in my opinion, nothing else for free compares even slightly to gemini 2.5 pro, and the moment I touched it, I basically dropped characer.ai, why bother with any filter besides google's if I'm going to put any effort in at all to do so

Yeah that's fine, just be aware that my general descriptions were made short and left simple enough for a basic model to understand so as not to take up too much of character.ai's limited token space. You might be well off adding more for your janitor versions. You've also got duplicates of your Personality box tokens in the Scenario box parts of your bots when all they're doing there is taking up space, you should empty out the Scenario boxes. I would appreciate a link back to my Hiruko bot but I'm not going to start an Internet fight over it
