Like seriously, anyone who has actually experienced the series through its original medium and has half a brain should understand the inherent failure of turning this into a cartoon. The interactivity of the web comic itself and the mixed media approach is kinda fucking integral to the Homestuck experience, you can faithfully transpose the narrative and characters over to animation sure but without the former you're missing a lot of the series' core identity. We already saw this happen with Viz's graphic novel adaptation and that shit speaks for itself. Viv and her studio being involved is just a further death knell for this as far as I'm concerned.
