It's days like this I WISH Lego would bring back the Bionicle license. The excuse use to be tooling costs are too high but with all this license crap you honestly tell me they don't have the money for the unique molding? Not to mention that they could just sell bulk bag sets of parts to be honest and people would be in love. I hope someday because we'd probably see more of these builds if parts weren't as scarcely anymore

It's not 'used to', tooling costs for new parts is always the driving factor. Bionicle died because it's sales went completely down the shitter in its last few years as the target demographic aged out of the line and also because it was a line that used a disproportionately high amount of newly tooled elements each year that had very little usage outside of Bionicle itself. Yes Lego has money now but that's not the point, no large company is going to waste money needlessly when they don't have to. Bionicle literally died twice because of poor sales and there is nothing to incentivise Lego to bring it back in principle, fan passion does not equate 1:1 with actual sales which are needed to keep any product line going. The line is never coming back in the way you'd want it to, move on.
