>his whole extended family is there,including his sweet younger nephew who I see every so often
>notice that she has a small bottle of medicine with her,presumably antacids
>friend explains in private that she has "digestion issues" of some sorts but never elaborates
>kinda feel bad for her ngl
>we go through his family's routine of saying grace,trying not to talk about politics at the dinner table,etc
>halfway through I hear the loudest goddamn gurgle from across the table
>try to look around without bringing too much attention to myself
>notice my friend's nephew beginning to hold her belly with a bit of an embarrassed look
>she tugs at her mother's sleeve and tells her she'll be right back before leaving quickly,not even taking her medicine with her
>mother notices me staring,kindly asks if I can take her tablets to her with a bit of a "worried but trying not to bring attention to it" look
>I oblige before excusing myself and following her
>friend's family's house has 3 floors with a bathroom on each
>the door to the basement is open so I head down there
>immediately find friend's younger nephew right outside of the bathroom door,holding her stomach as she whimpers in discomfort
>"You okay?"
>she looks up at me with pink cheeks,almost like she's embarrassed to have been found
>notice her usually small stomach is looking a bit larger than usual,just attribute it to bloating while immediately silencing the dirtier part of my mind
>I offer her the antacids,she anxiously swipes them from my hand and pops a few into her mouth

>I can only assume the antacids weren't enough or it was too late

>starting to get worried about her until the unbelievable starts to happen

>her expansion slows down before ending as quickly as it began
