A newer version of Reflections is out. And I gotta ask: Am I the only person who thinks his art has gotten worse? Now don't get it twisted, I don't wanna start a schizo tantrum like what's happening in the Better-With-Salt thread or the Kip thread, but I guenuinely feel like he has troubles being consistent with how he draws really fat chicks (Like Vero, the purpled haired chick in the screenshot. The blonde is drawn perfectly fine though), especially around the upper half of the body. Their lower arms get way too big to how they are supposed to be, with unnecessary flab that tries to convey that they're about to be so big they will become flab rings, while the upper arms feel not large enough, since the side chest (or serratus/latissimus combo) isn't pushing her arms uppwards enough. Another thing I feel like he struggles with are their face. I get that some fat fetishists do not like the rendition of fat faces with fat cheeks, but the way he draws fat faces feels like he draws them with no volume. Just a large oval (or a circle sometimes) with a semblance of a double chin. Having said all of that, I know that for some people, it's never gonna matter (Plus I know that Ana doesn't visit his threads anymore, so eh), but it has been something that irked me more and more as I looked in his art.

I thought his last comic was really good return to form, but the new stuff he's dropping are lacking.

I get that some people like some extra flabs, but when the forearms gain not one, but two flabby rings, I feel like it gets a wee bit excessive. I have seen several other artists make the forearms fat, but even on immobiles and barely mobile fatties, they just draw the forearm flab give the impression that it is slowly burying the wrist, not swallowing it. Not only that, but their hands look huge... like mittens-sized huge. Because that's probably my biggest issue with Reflections as a whole; Vero barely feels interesting until she reaches both Dominant or Submissive and the moment it gets interesting, she gets out of focus for someone else to get the attention. I don't feel like there is enough time focused on Vero adapting to her new reality. Have her discover that she got new friends alongside Valeria? this is precisely something I have planned, IDK if you've noticed but when she's in college she never goes to classes, or well, you never see her inside a classroom, my plan is to introduce more of her friends in those scenarios so new social events can be developed later like the party you see in the newest builds, and as far as adapting to her new reality is ALSO something I wanted to further explore with the classroom scenarios, like having her break chairs, feel embarrassed for showing up so fat for classes, or maybe even haver her stomach make noises in the middle of a lecture but STILL, I always welcome any constructive feedback no matter source >>296720 the first example you used is from a very old and very rough sketch I did where I was playing with a super flabby look for her, I guess you want to see something more like that? either way your comment on her hands being too big is noted >>296725 this, again, these are commissions and OK, clients can ask for sizes but its up to me to properly draw those parts and trust me when I say that I DO pay close attention to the way softon draws them. that being said these are the changes I'm making to ssbbw vero based on your input, this means that I'll have to redo a lot of her sprites but I do feel these changes are necessary, I left the original bbw sketch below for reference, something I noticed is that perhaps I made her shoulder fat a bit too excessive giving her that square look, it's something I've been doing since ever and something I like to emulate from other artists but perhaps its not the right fit for this project, again, feedback IF constructive will be always heard.

The only issue I have with anastimafilas art is that I only see him draw two character sizes. Either ssbbw or a giant blob and it gives the feeling of "once youve seen one youve seen them all" I wish he drew more comics or sequences and in between shots of the girls getting bigger instead of just a before or after because at least for me I like seeing the "signs" of a character getting fatter and seeing them immobile as the final result.

But I don't think commissioners are going to mind if you see some of their references for fat sizes and think "Huh, this looks off, let me make this look a wee bit better". You're still the artist, you can still take liberties with what they give you. I don't see how some people are gonna asks for refunds if their commissions doesn't look 100% like their references. Still though, again, impressed you can actually take feedback.
