In chapter 173 of "Kanan-sama Wa Akumade Choroi", the latest one, the main character supposedly gains weight and goes on a diet to lose it. Unfortunately said weight gain is non-noticeable with the first page being her imagination of the guy she likes touching her supposed soft tummy, but ironically in the second one a friend of hers, who is stuffing herself, offers her to join and is the one with her belly bulging pushing the protagonist to continue to work out. It's in spanish since I haven't seen it in english or japanese

I found the first chapter of Fat JK Kohane-chan previewed on Pixiv.net. Mostly male focused but there is some promising preview images at the end. I don't know moon speak so I can't be sure.

I realized that there will never be a good representation of chubby/fat supremacy in anime. There is no way a fatphobic country like japan is going to show fat girls without making them look/sound like a pig. Even mangas that have fat girls in them or if chubby girls are the main focus they then treat the weight gain as an obstacle and have the girls lose the weight at the end. Even if a popular fat fetish manga gets an anime it will just go to a random studio that produces slop like the Plus Sized Elf anime for example which while it was cool it even got an anime the animation was just shit. Im not saying I want mappa to animate a girls belly jiggle at 4k, but at least show that having more than 1% body fat doesnt mean youre a pig who always have some food in there hand. I just want them to show that the character is happy with her weight and is treated normally just like all the other characters. The only way I could see good fat girls in anime is if the mangaka actually has a preference for it and doesnt use it just as a "shes a pig" trope and that the character is just a small side character in an isekai or action anime because thats where the studio pour all the money into. If Mushoku Tensei or JJK for example had like a fat side character im sure they would represent it well. Thoughts?

I don’t know if this was posted before but, there is a series called Mahou Shoujo 201 that’s about a 30 year old woman named Fujiyama Shinobu who is a constant girl failure, and financial failure. She’s apart of a criminal organization and goes by the name Sexy Fujiyama. Their goals are to take over the city with magical bondage energy, by placing women in bondage. But she’s constantly beaten by a magical girl, and then said magical girl becomes Fujiyama’s apartment neighbor without knowing her enemy’s secret identity with typical seinen comedy ensuing. Anyways, a topic that’s been brought up quite a bit is Fujiyama’s neet-like appearance, with her weight also sometimes being brought up. Since she’s slightly chubby in the stomach with a noticeable belly flab, and due to her constant struggles with poverty and pay cuts, along with getting spoiled with food by the magic girl, she’s also a bit of a glutton. Luckily she also gained weight a few times among other things, so I’ll post some of her more notable shots that show off her stomach flab, and all of the weight gain and expansions that currently exists.
