Getting normalized Anonymous 05/25/2026 (Mon) 21:56:28 Id:4dafe6 No. 86682
Not really but I feel like I see so much either relating to meme like pounding tortas or people making/using straight up fat art for social posts. Don't know if it's just a me thing though
What the fuck is even your question. This did not need its own thread. You did not need to bump lock an old thread and delete it to post this fucking nonsense
>>86685 I think he's saying it seems like fat fetishes are getting normalized. Anecdotally, it seems like the normies on my social feeds are expressing awareness that other men out there like fat girls, and I've seen some people go public about how they like fat girls, but I'm not sure if I would call it normalized yet.
I feel like it's kinda more like people are starting to be aware that we exist and that it's less uncommon than a lot of people thought Obviously that also leads to more people creating related content and memes (about themselves or others) There will always be people joking, mocking and posting mean comments, it's the internet.. But I feel like it has taken a step away from being similarly treated like being gay or other non standard preferences Which can also be seen by all the confident plus size women (who are not necessarily body positivity advocates) wearing more revealing and less don't look at me style outfits imo
i damn hope it gets normalised! people like sadie special and fatmisst should be the beauty standard yall can fight me on that 😈
I feel this is getting more true in the younger gen z generations on instagram and tiktok reels where a majority of the comments instead of talking about how much of a whale a plus size girl is, instead they say things like "hear me out" or "it should've been me not him". Most of these aren't even in fetish model or feederism community and are just in meme jokes. https://www.instagram.com/p/DXZ2aFwmutq https://www.instagram.com/p/DYgg_4olJpr
I have a feeling that plus-size bodies were trendy in the 2010s, but that's over.
Because of ozempic, being skinny is easy and therefore less valuable. Fatness is authenticity. It seems like it’s mostly younger men who are into women with curves, people who leave hate comments tend to be old or in the closet. It looks like a return to normal to me, the boomer ideology that women need to be small, weak, hairless, seems predatory.
My Theory is that it's just exposure/ sexual imprinting. There were more fat women in the 90s than in the 70s and there were more fat women in 2000s than in the 90s. As a result more guys who are entering into the teens/20s now were around fat women growing up than in previous generations. The end result is that it's possible more guys are into fat women now than previously.
>>86733 I'm a younger millennial but I am straight up jealous of younger gen z. It feels like there's so much less shame around being fat and dating fat women. Plus fat girl fashion is actually good now.
>>86742 Older millennial here... Yeah, it was pretty right gorijg through middle school and high school with this preference during the 2000s
Rough going*
>>86740 Yeah I was pretty surprised when I saw a conservative-ish normie on Twitter talking about he thinks there's a difference between people who are fat because they enjoy life versus those who are fat because they're lazy slobs. Maybe we'll head back to 19th century norms where being fat was an impressive, but not too uncommon novelty.
I think the peak of fat appreciation (whether your own or someone else's) is past now. You see the trend being reversed. Women who embraced their curves are starting GLP-1's and soon we will get the question too whether our gf considered them, or worse, that we should suggest it to them.
>>86741 I think theres something to this. I grew up in a small midwest town in the early 2000s and remember how rare it was to even see a skinny woman. Like my brain never even had a chance to consider skinny women. Id hardly even seen them. I def agree with the thread that liking fat girls is becoming more mainstream now though. Soon we'll probably see some Timothy chalamet type openly date a 300 pounder and the floodgates will open
>>86733 I thought you would be linking to reels on woman-on-the-street interviews and you linked to anime memes wtf, of course anime gooners are leaving comments like that, but it's much more arguable whether that's normalization.
GLP ones are reversing this trend. Nice while it lasted.
If you are blob sized, Glp1s can help you lose a hundred pounds so so. The easy weight. After that you actually have to start trying. And these girls didn't get to these massive weights by being good at trying. My lady is on glp1 and hasn't lost a single pound in like 9 months.

even the memes are turning me on ... is that from an anime serie or smth?
>>86884 Reverse actually. Ozempic is seen in as trashy, sell out, or soulless behavior. Its in the same cultural lane for gen z as Ai or Israel, where sure theres definitely a decent chunk who accepted it, but it's at best, embarrassing to admit to supporting them. There's also now a huge counter push against it that's def creating a new wave of body positivity but in the vein of woke 2.0
>>87345 > Reverse actually. Ozempic is seen in as trashy, sell out, or soulless behavior. So is plastic surgery. Turns out normies, especially normie women would prefer to look like an ugly lazy sellout with money.
>>87359 Plastic surgery is not the same kinda trashy tho. It got accepted because it can be done subtly now so it's much more "tasteful" for normies. The only way to hide the effects of ozempic is to work out so you dont end up like a bobble head. But being on ozempic in the 1st place means they very likely aren't gonna do that lol. Plus, and this is the big part, they need to KEEP using ozempic forever basically. I already know a few ppl who stopped after a year and gained it all back and then some. Unless something new develops it'll just be a fade tbh
I kind of see what you're talking about. There's a vtuber I watch who did a face/body reveal a while ago and turned out to be fat even though her streaming avatar isn't. I expected the comments section to make fun of her for being fat IRL but was surprised to see the majority of the comments be positive/horny. I think there's only a specific kind of fat that's becoming mainstream acceptable, though. If a girl mostly stores fat in her lower body and has a comparatively lean face and waist she's much more likely to be accepted than a woman with a big stomach and double chin.
>>87388 Guys have always loved thicc women. PCOSal land whales with no self awareness are not attractive. Women made skinny popular.
I feel like this is a strange play, she is a weight loss motivation account but she post thumbnails with ridiculous fat edits people make of her. She has to be somewhat into this
It's sad how many SSBBWs that are ok with being fat end up losing weight because it's more difficult to get around. We need some way to normalize mobility scooters.
It’s important too to talk about Mukbang or overeating content getting normalized for a while now, I’d argue that ALL of it is performative eating and therefore fetish content. Women are way more popular with it (just like porn) and the most popular ones all visibly gain.
>>86682 It's been a long game played since before you were born to lessen a social stigma of a once unspoken but absurdly common preference. The social conditioning has been machined at a managerial level with big finance behind it, and at the unconscious individual level which only serves to uphold the former elite effort which directs it. Social media is legacy media rebranded with the illusion of open speech, and the same social conditioning applies. Men who like fat women aren't some tiny fraction of the population, they are a significant percentage and that breeds coordinated effort. For better and for worse, you are seeing the fruits of these labors ripen. Twenty years ago, women would fully cover up if they were even a little chunky. I see women of breeding age with their fat midsections, love handles and shockingly even bellies proudly on display now in most public places, it's not even an open secret anymore that men like fat women now that the internet is everyday life, it's merely another preference in a world of preference. This has benefits and repercussions of course, there is such thing as too much of a good thing, and you might burn yourself out on the hedonist treadmill.
