On the one hand, we encourage acceptance of size, which is beneficial. However, obesity can pose a serious risk to one's health. You can be healthy at any weight, according to some people. Sadly, that is just not the case. While I do not think height and weight are reliable measures of general health, I do think we should all be aware of how our weights can impact our health and establish appropriate boundaries.

That's why the 3DS remake truncated the hell out of the opening segment, and is also why VIII starts with a brief cutscene before throwing slimes at you--Akihiro Hino hated VII so much that he based VIII around his criticisms.
